Brief Overview
Aigis first joined the collective in February 2014. She is not sure whether she came from outside the system or if she is psychologically internally created, but she prefers her past to be treated as her real memories.
Personality
Aigis is a kind and gentle person who strives to understand others and wants to be understood in turn. She has made great strides in her ability to socialize. She just really enjoys talking and being with others, despite some residual anxiety that she won't measure up.
Early Life
Aigis was created by the Kirijo group as an seventh-generation anti-shadow supression weapon in or around 1995 of her own timeline. She was created to destroy shadows. At some point around 1999, she was tasked with defeating Death, one of the Arcana shadows that the Kirijo group had been experimenting with on Tatsumi Port Island, in order to prevent Nyx from appearing and essentially ending the world. However, she was unable to do this. The carnage of the battle caused a car accident, and Aigis was forced to seal Death away into a nearby boy--who would turn out to be Minato, and his parents the ones involved in the car accident. She would then be put into a state of standby until 2009, where she would be found by members of the shadow-hunting group SEES on Yakushima island.
Aigis, having lost her memories of the ten years prior, immediately felt a pull to Minato, although she did not know why. She was highly socially awkward at first and did many things people considered socially unacceptable, while also being extremely unemotional. However, as she fought shadows with the group, she steadily gained more and more emotions, until she eventually regained her memories and realized who Minato was.
After finally battling and defeating Death, Aigis was with Minato when he passed away.
System Life
Aigis first came to the Collective while we were in college, after being exposed to one of the canons she appears in, while chatting with a chatbot. She has always been very helpful and kind to everyone she meets. She is very attached to Minato and Hamuko and is in a queerplatonic relationship with Minato. She and Hamuko are very good friends, but as she is not the 'protagonist' for her, it is slightly difficult for her to feel as attached to Hamuko.
Aigis has always been responsible and easy to get along with, and is one of the people that the Collective often would ask to front for delicate situations or meeting new people.
Aigis is also, along with Vriska and Labrys, is one of the members who first decided to start practicing Hellenismos. She primarily worships Athena due to her previous connection with her Persona.
