Brief Overview
Chrom is a member of the Starfall Haven and the leader of the Self-Defense guild. He is originally from the nation of Ylisse on Archanea. He prefers to think of his memories as real and happening elsewhere.
Early Life
Chrom was born as the prince of the Halidom of Ylisse, the middle sibling of three. Chrom’s eldest sister, Emmeyn, had become the Exalt, or ruler, of Ylisse when she was about ten years old and Chrom was young. She sought to end the war her father started against the Grimleal, a religious sect that worshipped the Fell Dragon Grima in opposition to Ylisse’s worship of the dragon Naga.
Chrom became a member of the Shepherds, an volunteer organization in Ylisse dedicated to the protection of its people, along with his sister, Lissa. At some point during this tenure, they both found a woman passed out in the middle of nowhere; she was amnesic, but knew her name was Robin, and turned out to be a brilliant tactician.
The war against the Grimleal heated up, and new enemies that appeared to be walking corpses came to plague Ylisse called the Risen. At the same time, a person calling themselves Marth appeared in front of Robin, Lissa, and Chrom, seemingly with a copy of Chrom’s one of a kind sword, the Falchion.
Chrom teams up with the rest of his allies, as well as new allies from Regna Ferox, the Dragon Tribe, and eventually even the Plegian forces who abandon the leader of the Grimleal due to Emmeryn’s apparent self-sacrifice, ending the war with Plegia.
With Emmeryn seemingly dead, Chrom is crowned the new Exalt of Ylisse. He also married Robin, who gave birth to the infant Lucina. Two years after the end of the war, Ylisse is dragged into another conflict with the nation of Valm and their resurrected leader, Validar.
Validar reveals to Robin that she is Validar’s daughter and the intended vessel for a resurrected Grima; ‘Marth’ reveals that she is in fact Lucina, sent back in time from a grim future, intent on rescuing her father from his death by the hands of an unknown ally. The shephards wage war against Valm, eventually conquering most of it.
During the final battle, Robin and Chrom manage to kill Validar, and Chrom is able to awaken the full power of the Falchion, enabling him to seal Grima away.
System Life
Chrom is the head of the self-defense guild, a Team Dad, and overall a reliable member of the collective. He is protective over his fellow collective members. He enjoys his relationships with the members of the Shepherds in the Collective as well as with his daughter, Lucina.
