Brief Overview
Chie is a member of the Starfall Haven originally hailing from the town of Inaba on an alt-Earth. She prefers to think of her memories as real events that happened elsewhere.
Early Life
Chie was born in the small town of Inaba in Japan. The town originally thrived with plenty of small businesses, including her best friend’s family’s traditional inn.
Although Chie did not have many career aspirations growing up, she found herself drawn to martial arts, and to protecting bullied kids. She tried to protect her friend Yukiko as well, often getting a little overzealous, since she started to attract attention from boys.
During her second year of high school, a murder in the small town prompted Chie, Yukiko, and several others including Souji Seta into a series of paranormal events revolving around a secret television broadcast seemingly predicting the deaths of various people. Together they formed the Investigation Team and used a power known as Persona to uncover the person who was attempting to murder people in the town, as well as discovering a goddess was behind the mysterious fog enveloping the town. The team defeated her before she could cover the whole world in a deadly fog.
Divergence from canon
Although Chie and Yukiko never developed an official romantic relationship, they did hold hands and on one occassion, kissed.

Chie retains her interest in physical exercise and martial arts. She enjoys spending time with the investigation team members who are part of the Collective.
