Brief Overview
Baiheng is a Foxian explorer and former member of the Xianzhou's Sky-faring commission, former member of the Nameless, and one of the High Cloud Quintet. She believes her memories happened elsewhere.
Early Life
Baiheng was born on the Xianzhou Yaoqing to one of the pre-eminent sky-faring and adventuring Foxian families. She naturally joined the ranks of the Nameless (those following the path of the Aeon Akivili, the Trailblaze). She joined the Sky-faring commission of the Xianzhou fleet, taking on a small flying ship known as a Starskiff and exploring the stars, writing a Travelogue along the way. Baiheng was blessed with unusual luck, and although she was reckless and often got into terrible accidents in her starskiffs, she was always able to walk away unscathed. This penchant of wrecking Starskiffs earned her the nickname 'Starskiff Killer' by other members of the Commission.
Baiheng also had the uncanny ability to predict mostly ill omens; any ill prediction she said would likely come true, and that made her somewhat unpopular among the other members of the Star-faring Commission, despite the fact that she was a positive and kind person. She would often opt for solo missions.
at some point, she was assigned to a mission on the Xianzhou Zhuming, and met a young human boy named Yingxing who was not of the Xianzhou and therefore seen as a 'short-life' species. She befriended the young boy, who was an apprentice to a smith from the Artisanship commission. Yingxing would eventually become a member of the High-cloud Quintet, along with herself, Jingliu, Jing Yuan, and Dan Feng. The Quintet became famous heroes on the Xianzhou fleet. Baiheng became close friends with Jingliu, often sharing drinks together.
Some years later, when Yangxing was an adult, a follower of Yaoshi, the Abundance (the Xianzhou's greatest enemy) attacked the Xianzhou with an army. Baiheng rushed the defenses of the army in order to turn the tide of battle; once within said defenses, Baiheng used a technique that essentially dragged anything around it into a black hole. She was caught up in the attack and was dragged inside, the only remains left of her a few drops of her blood and some hair. That is where the Collective's Baiheng's memory ends.
Collective Life
Baiheng sees her being in the Collective as a second chance on life, and is eager to experience all Earth and Divisus has to offer. She is still kind and positive, and is quick to forgive and move on. Although she has only been in the collective for a short time as of this writing (January 2024), she is well-loved already and is making connections with both people from her universe and outside of it.
