Brief Overview
Early Life
Azura was born in Valla to Queen Arete, and like all royals of that world, she was born from the bloodline of dragons. She and her mother were driven out of Valla after Anankos, one of the First Dragons who had lost his mind to the degenerating effect of time, attacked Valla. Arete would later marry Garon, the king of the nation of Nohr, and become Garon's second wife.
Due to the fact that Arete was Garon's second wife, Azura and her mother were treated horribly by his harem, by which he had had other children who were forbidden from getting close to her or getting to know her. Arete later died after telling Azura about Valla, wanting her daughter to know about her homeland.
Azura was later captured by the nation of Hoshido in exchange for Kamui, who had previously been kidnapped by Nohr. However, he wasn't given up by the Nohrians, and Azura was raised in Hoshido along with the Hoshidan royal children and their queen, Mikoto. Although those children never treated her outright unkindly, and she had no desire to return to Nohr, she was still seen with suspicion due to her origins and sometimes was subject to abuse by others. Her new siblings also took some time to warm up to her, and developed a withdrawn personality from the stresss she had been through her whole life.
Once Kamui encountered her and they joined forces, Azura travelled with Kamui as he uncovered a plot by Garon--or rather the thing possessing Garon--and saved both Hoshido and Nohr from destruction.
Azura did not marry and had no children, unlike some other members of the army. She died before the end of Kamui's story and very little is known about her after her death, historically.
System Life
Azura adapted to life in the collective fairly well. First using her given name, Aqua, she then switched to using the name Rabbit, and finally to Azura. She retains her pessimism but continues to have an interest in dance and singing. She also feels connected to the Earth god Hethert (Hathor).
She and Kamui have a close friendship, and she is appreciated by the Hoshido sibling in the collective, Sakura, as well as Elise and Camilla of Nohr.
