Brief Overview
Ayato is the former family head of the Kamisato clan of Inazuma. He is a member of the Starfall Collective and believes himself to come from somewhere else.
Early Life
Ayato was born as the eldest son of his parents, then head of the Kamisato clan, one of the most powerful families in his home country of Inazuma. Ayato studied swordsmanship from a young age. He also studied the arts and politics; his parents, although busy as the head of the clan and one of the Commissions that made up Inazuma's government, tried to give him the best advantage they could despite not being able to spend time with him. As he grew, he also welcomed the birth of his younger sister, Ayaka.
However, Ayato's father passed prematurely due to the stress from his job, and his mother not long after, leaving both Kamisato siblings orphaned and Ayato thrust into the spotlight as the new clan head and Yashiro Commissioner. Although he had been studying politics for years, Ayato had to learn through practice how to master political manuevering--and master it he did. Ayato gained a reputation for being resourceful, cunning, and understated. He learned to deftly dodge attempts to undermine his and his clan's legitimacy and power, using his opponent's plans against them. Although Ayato was not the kind of man to boast about his own strength, he became respected nonetheless.
Ayato also helped his sister from the sidelines while she covertly fought against Inazuma's shogunate during its period of isolation and the Vision hunt decree. Although he never openly disobeyed the Shogun, he was able to manuver covertly to assist in ending the decree's reign of terror.
System Life
Ayato is used to new situations and is by his nature very adaptable. He has helped the collective out more than once with his management skills. He also enjoys boba tea on occasion, and likes to try new or interesting flavors, as he does in his canon, although this time there's no pressure to do so out of a lack of time. He greatly enjoys his newfound leisure time.
