Brief Overview
Ariya is a Sanguivori (or vampire) from Maharra who works as a waitress at a club there.
Early Life
Ariya was born to mother Alia Akadiya and father Benroe ven Lahska roughly 75 years ago in Maharra; her older brother Octavio had been born 15 years prior. At that point, the Maharran continent was finally finding its footing after the apocalypse, and acceptance of the Sanguivori was still a work in progress, although she and her family were able to live in Maharra more or less unbothered.
Ariya is old enough to have witnessed the acceptance of blood banks in Maharra, as opposed to being forced to feed off animals. She was raised with tales of her ancestors, who, before the apocalypse had mostly lived underground and undetected by humans. She was told the ven Lahska line was one of the oldest and proudest, although she was also told that it was better for everyone if Sanguivori lived equally amongst the other species in Maharra.
Ariya discovered her soul reading abilities when she was a teenager (around 20-30). She is able to sense souls, their past lives and from which pool they came from, and find problems within a person's soul, but unlike soul workers she is unable to manipulate them or heal them. She has had several jobs over the years, but currently works in Maharra in a night club as a waitress.
She also developed an interest in novels, especially romance novels.
System Life
Ariya is interested in 'daywalker' employment and hobbies, given that in Maharra she is unable to enjoy some of what society does during the day. She has an interest in Maharran history-recording and has discovered that while fronting, she has an intense sweet tooth.
