Brief Overview
Aiba is an artificial intelligence that alternatively takes the form of an Eyeball, a woman, or an eyeball with a gummy-bear esque body. She is an Endotraveler which means she doesn't believe her past is a literal thing that happened, but she still has memories from her old life that affect her.
Personality
Aiba is a matter-of-fact being, intelligent, and socially aware. She's not fond of socializing except with people she really likes, and for that reason she can be somewhat standoffish. A potential friend has to earn her interest and trust first.
Early Life
Aiba was produced by a man called Pewter who worked for the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, in a secret team called ABIS that used Somnium technology in order to solve crimes, infiltrating witnesses and potential suspect's dreams and subconscious and finding critical clues. Aiba was created after Kaname Date joined ABIS, and resided in his left eyesocket after Date lost his eye.
Aiba served as Date's investigative partner and assistant in solving violent crime, including the murder of Shoko Nadami.
Collective Life
Aiba, being an artificial intelligence, is currently confined to the Haven unless she is carried to Divisus by someone else. Being a member of the Justice Department, she is also interested in legal proceedings.
