Brief Overview
Adrien Agreste is a member of the Starfall Haven. His first post on the tumblr was on February 8, 2016. He had a brief absence spanning about two years before regaining contact in 2021.
Personality
Although prone to moments of melancholy and longing, Adrien is an optimistic person who wants to do right by others and do whatever he can do to help. Pressured to be camera-ready by his father, his un-repressed personality is much closer to that of his alter-ego, Chat Noir, who cracks jokes and enjoys making people smile.
Early Life
Adrien was born in Paris to his parents, Gabriel Agreste and Emilie Agreste. He was raised in a wealthy household due to his parents having high-profile jobs. However, before his first year of middle school, his mother seemingly passed away.
Adrien was shortly thereafter made to model for his father's fashion brand; he enjoyed it at first, because it seemingly won his father's affection. However, later on, he came to see it as a prison that was isolating his peers. He begged his father to let him go to a public school.
While he was in middle school, he met Marinette Dupain-Cheng and several others from his grade, and was happy to be among peers his own age.
Soon after starting at public school, he was gifted with an artifact known as a Miraculous that gave him the powers of the black cat Miraculous. This artifact is primarily concerned with the aspect of destruction, whereas the Ladybug Miraculous, its opposite and crucial balance, which belonged to Marinette and was concerned with the elements of luck and creation. Unbeknownst to Adrien, his father Gabriel had the butterfly Miraculous, and in a bid to obtain both the Black Cat and Ladybug Miraculouses in order to make a wish and revive his wife, made ordinary people into 'akumas', or, essentially, supervillains.
Adrien regularly fought these akumas until he showed up here, in the system.
Divergence from canon
Although his canon states that his mother is merely in a comatose state, artificially being kept alive, he is certain that she is without a doubt dead.
As the wielder of the Black Cat Miraculous, he has been steadily gaining subtle physical changes that make him look more cat-like. He also tends to view his Chat Noir persona as more closely resembling his real feelings and attitudes than his canon counterpart.
System Life
Adrien arrived here and although at first he had a somewhat difficult time learning the secrets that had been kept from him, including the secrets of his own father. However, he has adapted and come into his own, wanting to reclaim his life for his own now that he is in a new world.
Absences
Adrien went missing sometime in 2019. In that time, as we learned later, he went to the planet of our inner world, where he worked in a flower shop in Belagria. Due to the memory locks at the time, he didn't quite remember his life in the Haven while he was there. Eventually, he was transported back to the Haven by unknown means, and had in turn lost his memories of working in Belagria, except for vague impressions. He was able to more or less regain those memories once the memory embargo had been lifted.
